The Department of Korean Language and Culture (the “Korean Department” for short) was set up in 2009, started enrolling undergraduate students in the same year, and began enrolling graduate students in 2012. The Department has 7 full-time teachers, including 1 overseas teacher, 2 professors, 1 associate professors, among them, 4 have a PhD degree, 2 are in-service PhD candidates. Though newly establish, the Department has made a sustainable development in discipline construction, teaching and scientific research. Currently the teachers of the Department has undertaken 4 research projects at/above the ministerial/provincial level, including 1 project of the National Social Science Fund, 2 projects of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, and 1 project of the Department of Education of Hubei Province. |
